The sore ears and ear infections suffered by my two daughters on our last 5 summer holidays have caused great distress, the final straw was spending a whole day at the doctors and the local Turkish hospital last year whilst my then 12 year old had her ears flushed and fitted with an antibiotic cotton plug. She is a keen swimmer and swims twice a week for an hour and during the last year has had a further 4 infections, 3 in the two months leading up to our return to Turkey. So with trepidation we set off back to the same holiday apartments for three weeks. In the previous month we’ve tried ear plugs that dry ears after swimming and drops that evaporate water, and I bought a huge amount of these for the trip as I wasn’t sure how often they’d need to be used…children do get in and out of the pool virtually all day. So when I spotted this product I thought I’d give it a try too! Since using it on the first day we haven’t bothered with the plugs or the drops, its been fabulous. I was so relieved to get to day 7 of our holiday and find that no one had a twinge of pain! I have also been using it and for the first holiday ever I’ve enjoyed swimming because I don’t mind getting my ears wet and I can even dive under the water without getting a throbbing in my ears. Of the 3 products I’ve bought its been the best and amazingly the cheapest, I can’t believe we’ve managed 20 days without an ear infection.
